The Evolution of Dance YouTube Clip is a six minute clip of dancing styles by comedian, Judson Laipply, that has become an Internet sensation. In the video, Laipply dances to a soundtrack that plays through various popular songs ranging from Elvis Presley to MC Hammer. As of November 6, 2006, the number of views on YouTube.com had reached 35 million.[2]

Judson (Jud) Laipply is a motivational speaker and comedian from Cleveland[3] who graduated from Bluffton College and Bowling Green State University with a Master’s degree.[4] He is best known for his performance in the . which is the #1 Most Viewed All Time Video, #1 Top Rated Video and #3 Most Discussed Video on YouTube.com.[5] "Evolution of Dance" is the finale to Laipply's show called "Inspirational Comedy".[6] His website describes the show as "combining his thoughts about life and change with humor".[7] In 2002, he began closing many of his college, high school and corporate appearances with his unusual dance medley. It soon became a "crowd favorite".[3]
