"Angry German kid" refers to a video where an overweight German speaking boy tries to play Unreal Tournament but when it takes too long to load he violently explodes and smashes the computer. After the video hit the internet it spread to popular video sharing websites like YouTube, EBaum's World, and Metacafe.

Break Down

It begins with the boy trying to install the video, showing great impatience and mounting temper while doing so. He bangs the keyboard and screams wordlessly at the computer while attempting to install the game, cursing creatively all the while, then shows some unusually exuberant joy when it finally loads. It is short lived after he finds out that quite a few keys that are needed to play the game have disappeared when he smashed the keyboard in his earlier fit of rage. Eventually he is killed in-game and loses all control and wrecks the keyboard and mouse, then leaves, almost crying.

Spoofs

  • Later after this infamous video made it to the internet, a spoof was made using Numa Numa and Star Wars Kid along with fake subtitles to make the video more realistic.

  • Around June 2006 a German businessman created a "parody" by saying the same words and impatience, but with a calmer reaction involving a much less worn keyboard.

  • Common incorrect translated subtitles are a common theme depicting the "Angry German kid" as being a pedophile, internet searcher, a football manager and many more versions found online.

Staged?

Since its initial release more videos have surfaced suggesting that the Key-Board beating might be staged. Some examples are Angry Kid attacks the Stuffed Teddy Bears and Angry Kid talks about gangsters
